Dementia Care

Caring for loved ones with dementia requires compassion and expertise. Our team provides personalized support to manage symptoms and enhance quality of life.

Dementia Care

Safe, Compassionate and Person-Centred Support

At Trustline Care, we provide high-quality, specialist dementia care that is fully aligned with CQC Fundamental Standards. Our services include dementia-specific home care visits and assisted living support, alongside ongoing guidance and reassurance for families.

We understand that a dementia diagnosis can be life-changing for both the individual and their loved ones. Dementia affects everyone differently, and needs may change over time. Our role is to deliver safe, effective and responsive care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing at every stage.

Working in partnership with the individual and their family, we develop a person-centred care plan that reflects personal history, preferences, communication needs, and assessed risks. Care plans are regularly reviewed and adapted to ensure support remains appropriate and effective.

Our Approach to Dementia Care

Our dementia care is built around the principles of person-centred and least-restrictive care. We support individuals to live as independently as possible while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Our experienced and trained care professionals:

  • Take time to understand each person’s life story, routines, and preferences
  • Communicate in ways that are clear, calm, and reassuring
  • Support emotional wellbeing, recognising that dementia can cause anxiety, confusion, or distress
  • Deliver care with kindness, dignity, and respect at all times

We recognise that caring for someone with dementia, particularly in the later stages, can be complex. Professional support can provide reassurance, reduce risk, and improve quality of life for both the individual and their family.

Working in Partnership with Families

At Trustline Care, we recognise that dementia affects the whole family. Seeking support can be a difficult decision, and many families feel a strong sense of responsibility to care for their loved one themselves.

We work in partnership with families, ensuring they remain fully involved in care decisions and reviews. Our team provides clear communication, practical advice, and emotional reassurance, helping families feel supported rather than excluded.
