PEG Feeding and Advanced Clinical Care

PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) Care

PEG feeding is required when an individual is unable to safely swallow food or liquids and receives nutrition directly into the stomach via a gastrostomy tube.

At Trustline Care, our trained professionals provide safe and effective PEG care, supporting both the physical and emotional needs of the service user.

Our PEG care includes:

• Administration of PEG feeds in line with clinical guidance
• Management of prescribed food, fluid, and nutritional intake
• Support with medication administration via PEG, where required

• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene around the PEG site

All PEG care is delivered by staff who are appropriately trained and competent, following individual risk assessments and care plans.
